Holly sets the scene

Yogurt, fruit, something crunchy. Built in a glass so you can see the layers, which Holly considers cinematography.

★★★★★ Holly's review

“Reviewed early. Confirmed later. No notes.”

From Ginger's pantry

You'll need

  • 1 cup plain or Greek yogurt — or whatever yogurt is in the fridge
  • A handful of berries or any chopped fruit
  • 2–3 tbsp oats or granola
  • Optional: a spoon of seeds (chia, hemp or sunflower) if you already have them
  • Optional: a tiny drizzle of honey or maple syrup

Use what you've got

  • USE WHAT YOU'VE GOT. Frozen fruit, tinned fruit, a chopped banana — all of it works.
  • No granola? Plain oats are fine, or crumble whatever cereal is in the cupboard.
  • Seeds are optional and only if they're already in the house. Don't go shopping for chia.
  • Honey is not for babies under one year old.

Aprons on

Let's make it

  1. Spoon a layer of yogurt into a glass or a small bowl.

  2. Add a layer of fruit.

  3. Add a layer of oats or granola.

  4. Repeat until you run out of glass.

  5. Finish with fruit on top, add seeds or a drizzle if you're using them, and eat it right away while the crunch is still crunchy.
