From Ginger's pantry
You'll need
- ½ cup soft butter
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1½ cups flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- A pinch of salt
- A big handful of chocolate chips

Let's make it
Ask a grown-up to heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Mix the butter and both sugars until creamy.
Stir in the egg, then the flour, baking soda and salt.
Fold in the chocolate chips.
Drop spoonfuls onto a lined baking tray.
Grown-up: bake 10–12 minutes until golden at the edges. Cool, then munch.

🔥 Oven — Ginger's Main Method
350°F (175°C) for 10–12 minutes, until golden at the edges.
💨 Air Fryer — Ginger's Small-Batch Method
Line the basket with a piece of parchment, bake 6 spoonfuls at a time at 320°F (160°C) for 7–9 minutes, and let them firm up in the basket for a minute before lifting them out.
